Many Architects and Projects Managers like to use a Tender process to appoint builders to a project. They approach a number of builders for submissions or advertise the project. Builders then layer down to the trades and suppliers for submissions on the given project.
For a truss and frame business generating quotes and tenders takes a lot of resource and this comes at a high cost to the business, especially when combined with a supply and install offering. With that and the low conversion of tender submissions we respectfully choose not to participate in these competitive tenders.
By all means we are happy to price a project against our competitors on live jobs, that is on projects where the builder has been appointed.
More so, we prefer to be solution based and work with builders, architects or engineers to achieve the most feasible, efficient and economical outcome on a given project, often called Early Contractor Involvement. (ECI)
The biggest beneficiaries of our approach to tenders and ECI are our regular builders, we’d love you to join the family too.
